Overview

The 2X Global Summit is the annual convening of 2X Global members and strategic partners. The Summit aims to foster member connection, advance collaborations and drive meaningful action towards closing the global gender financing gap. With the support of our community, we account for over US$30 billion in gender lens investments since 2018.

This year’s summit is co-hosted with MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) and will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from September 16-18, 2024.

Under the 2024 theme “Solutions for Systems-Level Change”, participants will convene for three days to explore and identify ways to strengthen collective commitment and action to make finance more gender-smart and inclusive. At the event, we will also launch the 2X Certification, an independent and universally available mechanism that seeks to drive greater transparency, accountability and credibility in the field of gender lens investing.
